So you’ve decided to have your family photographed. Below are the simple steps we’ll go through and here are some things to remember about family photo sessions with me.
- Once I receive your session fee I will send you a welcome kit via email with information about what to wear, what to bring, what not to bring, how to plan your day for success, etc.
- I want you to know it’s MY job to make you look good. I will only photograph you in the most flattering light, angles, and positions.
- Your job is to relax and enjoy your family. I want it to feel more like play time than work.
1. Reach out and we’ll discuss, either, on the phone, through email, or text about what your goals are and my recommendations to reach them including location ideas. You’ll fill out a short online portrait agreement and pay the session fee. Once payment is received I’ll send your welcome kit, and secure your date on my calendar.
2. On the day of your session we’ll meet in person. I’ll already know a little bit about you so I can start connecting with the kids right away. I want you all to feel comfortable. I’ll find the best lighting and backgrounds for the space we are in. Your only job is to enjoy your family. Depending on your personality that means you’ll be snuggling, hugging, tickling, smooching, definitely smiling, and sometimes being serious.
3. Proofs will be available approximately 3-4 weeks after your session. A link to an executable slideshow will be e-mailed for you to choose your prints and to share with family and friends. You will also be given a password to access your online proofing gallery. Orders can be made through your online gallery.
4. Your final order will arrive on your doorstep ready to enjoy forever. Being able to hold and share the prints, albums, and framed wall art is the most exciting part of the process
